This winter, Kimono Reinvented will be presented within our gallery space, a unique ode to Japan featuring work by local scientist-turned-artist Iain Wilson. Open 15 November-22 December, this exciting exhibition will explore Iain’s innovative use of kimono imagery and the meeting of East and West.
Our preview will be held on Sunday, 13 November, 2:00-4:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served, and guests will be welcomed into the gallery to see our latest show.
Further details for our accompanying events, such as film screenings, a concert, and a poetry reading, will soon be shared through social media. Golden Reflections, an exhibition of jewellery by Japanese artisans reflecting on wabi-sabi, will also be on display for all guests.
