On Friday 8 October, we celebrated our opening. A highlight of the evening was an outstanding performance by dancers and choreographers, Kristin W. Wong and Thomas Götz, who interpreted the discovery of the nest which inspired the creation of the gallery through the medium of dance.

Several of the paintings of Colin Hay were the subject of a similar creative interpretation; this is performance art in its truest sense.
